sweeps off dust / 12:03:00 PM

at work now. transcribing my vox pop and taking my time before i can fly off to enjoy my saturday. work has been pretty ok. it's picking up the pace now that the cny holiday is over.

cny was ok. other than the usual hongbaos, goodies, food. it is getting to be a bore. from the usual visiting. though there are some relatives whom you sincecerly want to catch up with. like my porpor who is 94 this year and she is still looking good. wish i could speak hainanese. other than that, its just sitting around, doing nothing, smiling at relatives. such PRness. and CNY is beginning to remind me on the dysfunctionality of my family. if there is one thing i could change, i wish everything could just be simpler, less complicated. maybe with better communication. or maybe take the initiative to make way for improvements rather than just the silent treatment.

maybe cny is not so fun after all.

will be working for 11 days straight after 2 days off. hopefully i'll survive. feeling tired now. not entirely from work. other issues, own thoughts. bah.

on one hand i've cleared 2 months of my internship, which means 4 more months to go.
