the first time staying up to watch the 3am match. which was accompanied by occasional nods off, and the occasional laments on not sleeping where the birds will soon start to chirp. luckily we brought twisties and peanuts with us. the chewing kept me awake during the game. i thought Portugal would win. with the many shots they attempted. and of course with good looking Ronaldo. But somehow the teams which i think will win, will lose. Same went for Germany. Maybe it just shows how lousy I am in predicting.

we went to the CC opposite my block. minimal crowd, with it being broadcast onto free to air channels as well. but i was pretty amused when the males cheered or reacted loudly with missed goals, scoring opportunities, and fouls. looks like soccer brings all together.

it's a pity france won on a penalty which i felt it shouldn't have been awarded. after all he tripped and fell, not on purpose by Portugal's defense. imagine how hard you were playing for a game, and suddenly the win boils down to penalties. ditto. ih hockey experience.

right. i am sleepy. awfully chocolate cake from sis's bday was overrated. and she has an ipod! i've yet to succummb to the ipod family. maybe soon .

time to wake up the snoring cow.
